I'd like on this band wagon, woke up one morning and there they were...rolls around my stomach! I swear it happened overnight. Anyway, I also don't use a scale, tossed it out in a fit a few years ago, but can very much tell by my clothes. Would love to join the 7 lbs in 3 wks gals. I'm going to try to DRASTICALLY reduce portions, to size of fist, not eat after 5 pm, or at least 6. Only 2-3 meals. How do you feel about breakfast? I know how important they say it is, but I'm just as hungry at lunch if I eat it as if I don't.

They say you should eat breakfast within 45 mins of getting up in the morning. This kick starts your metabolism. (breaking the "fast" that you've had since you ate the evening before)

I've found that eating every 3-4 hours helps keep my bingeing down, and also keeps the fire (metabolism) burning!

As of this morning I am down 3 pounds, can't believe how when you stick to your plan it actually works. I stay up late so get up late as well and eat bunch instead of breakfast then eat dinner around 6:00 PM. The only exercise I get is during TV commercials, I march in place waving my arms around like a composer. But soon the pools open and watch out then....

5 lb loss today....when is the deadline? I gave up diet drinks. Dianne, this might interest you also...I am drinking pom juice. Instead of the shot a day, I am adding it to Perrier. I call it my antiox spritzer. Tastes great!

I made it to 8 pounds but it was a real struggle. Maybe now that my pool is all sparkly and clean I can get more exercise and drop more weight.

Hi everyone,

Just jumped a HUGE hurdle and wanted to share...

I went out and bought (gulp) shorts today...I haven't worn shorts in probably 15 years.

I have now lost 45 pounds, and feel confident enough to show my legs. WOoooo hooooooo!

DH is coming home, wonder what he's going to think. Ah, who cares. LOL!

Losing weight has been such a huge blessing for me! Still have about 5 - 10 pounds to go.

How are the rest of you all doing?

hugs,
danita
