ladyjane Registered: 08/22/07 Posts: 1761 Loc: Southern Maine, USA	I've used this very easy recipe many times and it's absolutely awesome! What a way to get an "Oreo fix" ! OREO COOKIE CAKE Any flavor cake batter (I always use White because it's soooo rich!) 1 cup coarsely crushed Oreo cookies Vanilla frosting Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 round cake pans. Prepare cake batter as usual. Add all of the cookies except for 3 tablespoons (use as many Oreo crumbs that you want!). Stir cookies into batter and bake for 30 to 37 minutes. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pans. Cool completely. Crush the remaining cookies finely and mix into frosting. Fill layers and frost cake with frosting. Garnish with additional Oreo cookies cut in half. _________________________ If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane ~ Jimmy Buffett
