Boomers are starting businesses by the droves - 06/13/15 02:22 AM

Many of us Boomers aren't ready to retire when we reach retirement age. Some of us can't afford to retire, while others feel they will be just too bored following a traditional retirement route, so they decide to use this part of their lives to start up a business of their own.

This isn't a totally new concept. Boomers have been leading the entrepreneurial pack for at least 15 years now. Yes, more Boomers are starting businesses these days than any other age group.

So here's a useful article from Us News listing a handful of excellent tips for starting up a retirement-based business.

What do you think? What tips would you add?

One more thing:

Sheree Keyes just contacted me about an upcoming entrepreneurial event for which she'll be one of the speakers, which might be of interest to anyone here who is considering starting a business.

The series, developed by Michael Hellerslien of the website www.FearlessEntrepreneur.co, is called, "Mindset of the Fearless Entrepreneur."

It is for you if you would like to build and grow a thriving business in a deeply authentic manner.

BTW: It's free!

She says the only catch is you will have to approach the series with an open mind.

Specifically, she says, "Not everyone wants to take responsibility for their own success. But if you're serious about upgrading how you approach business, this is for you.

I feel honored to lend my voice to this movement. By extension, I feel honored to invite you to take part by following this link and signing up for this
free entrepreneur event."
