I Said, God Said

I got this in an email. I thought this was nice and I wanted to share it.

I SAID, GOD SAID

I looked in the mirror and I said "I'm fat."
God answered and said "You're beautiful."

I looked within and I said "I'm sinful."
The Father answered and said
"You're forgiven."

I looked for friendship and I said "I'm lonely."
Jesus answered and said "You're mine."

I looked for satisfaction and love and I said
"I'm empty."
The Holy Spirit answered and said "You're filled."

I looked for love and I said "I'm undesirable."
God answered and said "You're precious."

I looked to God and I said "I need You."
He answered and said "I'm here."

He IS there...why is that sometimes not enough? He does love us so much, why does this not satisfy? I guess when we see Him face to face, it will be more than enough and we will be fully satisfied..

This is just what I needed today...so beautiful. Sometimes we may feel that God is far away but theres always that little tug at your heart that says "he's very near"
