A worthy read... - 07/08/09 10:18 PM

Groovy gave me Denise Jackson's "It's All About Him"; I just finished reading it today. It is a nice, uplifting read. Family
values and love of God are first and foremost. Loved it!

Denise Jackson is Country Music Star Alan Jackson's wife. I found interesting that Jackson was also her maiden name.
Alan had left home right after Denise gave birth to their 3rd baby girl. Don't want to say too much to give away the book plot, but their marriage nearly dissolved due to unfaithfulness, etc. Good read!

I mentioned this book because this couple had everything: fame; fortune; a 19 car garage, filled with toys; boats; a host of people to cater their every need. Still they were not happy.
Happiness comes from within! Not from outside factors!

Me too! Guess the only point I was trying to make, is that God is
the only route to true happiness. A happy spirit makes a happy
person, IMO! whistle

It happens to poor people, too. Human nature can be disturbing. What is enough and for whom?

Saundra,
Maybe because human beings are so complex, not only physically but emotionally as well, that we all have problems dealing with
the body, soul, and spirit. Even things we see with our own
eyes get distorted, and things we can't see but feel is real,
now that's really confusing.

Sounds like a book I'd like to read. I'm going to check it out on Amazon. Thanks.

Here's a link in case anyone's interested.

Looks interesting to me, but I've read similar books and already know who the love of my life is. First God, then Ross. Corny, but true.

I have a friend who lives in the vicinity of AJ home that he is trying to sell. Says he has been in trouble with the poe poe for cutting down trees on his neighbors yard. She didn't know the particulars, but said after the incident, he did it again. You have to laugh...or roll your eyes...

Dotsie,
You are a doll. Thank you for putting that link for others to see.

Jawjaw,
I heard The Jacksons' were trying to sell their estate, too.
But I did not know the reason they wanted to sell. These days
nothing would surprise me.

I like AJ as a singer, okay. But I do not get why he cheated on
his wife, even after reading her story. I can't see that she
did anything so terrible, as to push him away. Geese. Men.
