Anne,

Maybe you can pick a used computer someplace not an old one . We had one we just put up to be recycled out the parts . I keep my Gateway and hubby got a new Dell . I took word 1 & 2 and Excel and forgot most of the Excel . We take classes a the local extention college and they cost is small, I am still unable to get a senior discount . Writing classes are on my list also that are non credited also. That way I don't have to take the exams .

Just some thoughts to help .

Long ago I taught adults dance for one of those classes. It was SO rewarding to see them come along and walk differently, with a grace that was new. I was so excited for them when they mastered a simple step it was like I was the one learning! It's a great thing to go and take those classes. I wish I had time but I have gone back for classes three times so far in my life when I had the time because I had a procedure done medically and could not work.

Dancer,
I was so excited taking this Thi Chi Class , for it was in the dance room with the ballet barres and mirrors we did go to the barre once to balance ourselves . I studied ballet for a long time and would love to go back to the basic barre moves . Maybe teach it .

Renee,
It's never too late to go back and teach ballet! I find there is always a demand for adult beginning ballet classes! Many women wanted to dance when they were younger and did not so want to start when they are older. If you wanted to teach, I'll bet you could find enough interested in a class!

I've always found teaching and doing choreography so very rewarding. I get emotionally involved with my students to the point of wanting them to master a skill as much as they do! It's such a joy to see their faces as they do something completely right regarding technique! They are so happy and full of confidence. As I've said before, the grace it gives them is unmistakeable!
If you'd like to go back to the barre, by all means, go!
(Dance, in a Harvard study, proved to be the hardest sport on the body, bar none.)
I love the barre and never give it up. There is something about it that makes me feel like me after all this time.

You are obviously a dancer if you crave the barre! It is so hard!

Let me know what you decide!
