Has anyone taken a class through B&N yet? I'm tempted, but....what do you think?

Yes, I did. I took the Writing Fiction with Gotham Writer's Workshop. The course had a great outline and required reading (except when it came to the Great Gatsby - I could never get into that book) but the problem I found is there were so many participants that it became overwhelming to keep up with posting and reviewing.

Have you ever tried this one?

It is a free writing class and enrollment is limited. If you sign up for the T-zero: The Writer's Ezine, you will be notified when the next class is taking place.

It was through this course that I developed my novels.

Thanks Jersey Girl. I hadn't seen that one. I signed up for the zine. Don't you love the little words that follow your arrow? I am such a sucker for a little gimmick like that. They won't compel me to do things I don't want to do, but they tickle me. It looks like a fun place to tool around in.
