My eyes look greener in that photo than they actually are. When my husband took the photo, they just seemed to look greener than normal!

And my cousin Lucy has beautiful blue eyes which everyone thinks she got from her Dad. Little do they know, that she is adopted, and hasn't found out yet who she gets them from.

Eyes are beautiful though, aren't they? I especially love dogs' eyes. They are so soulful and so trusting. Just beautiful.

I have dark brown eyes and my father had brown eyes , but mother has pretty blue eys and my brother has blue like my mother. I guess I got my brown from my Dad. may he rest in peace.

We or I haven't seen a lot of green eyes here . They are pretty .

Dark brown eyes here. Youngest brother brown-black and two other sibs medium brown. Dad had brown eyes. Mom has greenish hazel. She always wore green clothing because it brought out the green in her eyes.

I'm the only green eyed person in my family of seven. The rest have beautiful blue eyes. Mom's had a little green amidst the blue.

Dark blue eyes here! - my entire family has (or had) blue eyes.....only non-blue-eyed member of my family now is my cat Sam who has golden eyes! My husband has those very light blue eyes and with his silver white hair it's a rather striking combination.
