I cannot get rid of the flashing icon saying a PM
how do I stop this.Keep thinking I am getting a new message.

MA, I had that too and couldn't figure it out - until I realized I had more than one new message waiting for me! Go back into your PM list and see if there are any with an "N" beside them - maybe two or three came in at the same time.

Heck, I had seven messages yesterday when I can to the forum, and that little icon was blinking its head off...

Mountain you have to delete the "read receipt" ..then the icon will stop flashing.
