As much as I can multi-task, I can't listen to TV or music when I'm online. Isn't that wierd? I wish I could but it totally distracts me.

However, I can listen to teleseminars while I'm working and get soemthing out of them.

I have tried, but just need total silence while I'm working on the computer. My kids always have music on while they work, but I just can't. I even tried this again yesterday, because I got a new soothing CD for my birthday, but I turned it off within a few minutes.

I love to listen (and sing along!) while in the car, and I also crank up the rock and roll when I clean house.

No can do. It stifles my creative side. But I love music. I put it on to clean house, which isn't often, and I always have it on in the car...but not here.

Boomer women rock...when doing housework. I love blues and old rock 'n roll - it's music to clean house by, among other things. I can't listen when working either. I stop working and start rocking.

Hairy chest...? Re: Hunky... - 01/28/07 08:22 PM

Hannelore,
Girl I don't know where you got that 1st one, but that would scare Lizzy Borden. Hunk #2 is cute, but he needs some hair on his chest. What say U, Dee? You started this hunk hankering thing!

Hairy chest...? Re: Hunky... - 01/29/07 01:20 AM

#2 looks pretty good. #1, however -- OK, my German is almost non-existant, but I think it's something like "das is nischt sheiner."

GUT GUT (pronounded goot goot)! Meredith. dein Deutsch ist gut.

I love the idea of getting you girls drooling.. Ha ha Just imagine us all in Vegas at some hunk show!

Hairy chest...? Re: Hunky... - 01/29/07 02:46 PM

We don't have a real plan yet. I doubt I'll have time to take in a show. We're meeting early afternoon and Chatty will probably take me to some of her favorite slot machines. And I'd like to take pics of her fishing lures and blankets if she'll let me, so you all can see them. Then I imagine we'll go out to dinner - Chatty, I'm counting on you to lead me to the best buffet (with lots of desserts!)

I'm weird, I don't like hairy chests. When I married my husband he had three hairs. He has a few more now. Not into the macho hairy thing.

Johnny Depp is a good lookin' fella. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a hairy chest if I remember right. It's the indian in him.

Danielle,
That tropicalglen.com is cool. Thanks.
Laurel, Johnny is sexy. But I still like hairy chests.
Kathy, Been to Vegas. I think the best part of Vegas is the food. The 2nd best is the architecture. I could spend days simply eyeing those awesome hotels.
Chatty probably has better ideas. But that's what impressed me.

Playa Cofi...Re: Hunky... - 06/29/07 09:44 PM

There are umtine things to do here, art galleries, museum, circus, horseback riding, Taking the paddle wheel boat lunch or dinner/dance cruise around lake Mead. Hiking, exploring, picture taking, fishing, dancing, seeing stars homes, ballet, several cultural centers, and on and on. There is nothing you could imagine that you can't do in Vegas. The Casinos/strip are merely the tip of the iceberg. Itr takes an ample amount of time to just explore the casinos, each representing a different country or theme. This place is a magical place if you don't mind hellish heat from May to September...Come on down as Bob Barker use to say.
