Santorum all but out of the running

I just saw this Santorum news release come thorough from the Washington Post.

so it looks like Romney is all but confirmed as the Republican Party's presidential nominee.

Thoughts?

Unless somebody jumps in at the last minute. I have a feeling that once Romney gets the nomination, his more extreme views are going to moderate. I don't think the GOP can afford to lose the women's vote, and they are well on their way to doing so.
