Friend needs continued prayer...!

Dear BWS members, my friend Pat is still in need of prayer.
She's the gal that was in CCU & ICU for three months, from
March 2 May, 2011. When she was in hopsital REHAB, workers there dropped her. Now this lady hasn't been able to walk since
entering the emergency room back in mid-Feb. When she was dropped, she suffered skin-tissue injury. She was operated on
this past Sunday, 7/3/11, to have a line of dead skin removed. Her husband said it was a band of dead, rope-size skin around her back? Don't know any more than that. But had she not been
operated on to remove the dead skin, she could have gotten
infection and died from that. Now her body has to replace that area where the skin was removed. If it does not replace it,
she'll have to have skin-grafting. Apparently the nursing home rehab removed a feeding tube when it shouldn't have. So her eating has been delayed. Please help me pray for this darling lady. Please!!!

I can't believe what this lady has been through. It's beyond
comprehension. And I don't understand why such nice people
suffer such horrible goings-on. This is the 1st question
I'm asking God when I get to Heaven!!!!

Sending my prayers for your friend. Goodness what horrible things to happen to her. I agree, Jabber, that's a very good question to ask God when we get to heaven. Makes you wonder.

There are a lot of things about The Bible and God and His promises that I do not understand. I just got home from Tennessee and received a phone call that my friend "Patti" the lady who've all been praying for here is dying. I am heartbroken. The world needs more people like Patti and I don't understand why God hasn't healed this precious, precious darling. Please pray for her and her husband. They're such nice,
sweet, wonderful people!

My friend Patti died last night. Please pray for her husband; he's been a rock through this whole thing. He tried and tried to
help her recover. His heart is broken; as is mine. Thanks for the prayers.

Well this upcoming week I have to go to Pat's Memorial Service and pay respects to the family at the local funeral home. I can't get this out of my head. I don't know what to say to her husband. I hurt so bad I can't hardly stand it. What do you do when there's a void so big you could drive a truck through it?????

I think you just said it, Jabber. The heart-felt emotion in your last two sentences is genuine and the family will understand it.

I'm so sorry you have a funeral to attend. I know Pat was a true friend to you and there's a feeling that your heart has been ripped apart. All you can do is honor the feeling and be there for her family.

Thank you. Thank you enough for replying to my wimpy weakness.
I know everybody goes through this. And I've certainly have enough of it lately. Like many of you, I've been through a lot in my life; but this the worse, of the worse. Pat was the sweetest person I've ever known. And thanks for the prayers all of you prayed while she was so sick these past 8 and 1/2 months.

It's not wimpy weakness, Jabber. It's the price we pay for being human and having the ability to love and feel compassion. It's what makes you the wonderful woman that you are. And there is no need to apologize for it. Sending you strength and love.

Like I've said so often, it's hard being human!!! lol...

Went to Pat's memorial service today and I feel like I had the
wind knocked out of me. I'm sure all of you have felt like this at one time or another. But God is good! And I'll bounce back, like I know I should.

Thank you Anne. I need all the prayers I can get; true, blue friends don't come along everyday. She believed in me. She had faith in me. She loved me. And the feelings were mutual!
