A Good Man Gone...

A Good Man Gone... - 05/08/09 08:39 PM

Remember I recently worked on a book for a woman in California, Victoria. Well her sister was dying from cancer when that was going on. Two months before Vickis sister passed away, her husband Micheal went to his doctor for a pre-op check up before he went in for carpal tunnel surgery and his blood work came back 'strange.' Upon further testing they found him to have a rare form of Leukemia. That was five months ago, Micheal passed this week. Please say some prayers for Micheal and for Victoria, she has faced two major losses in a short time and is devastated. Thank you...

chatty, I don't know how the elderly do it. Does she have many others left to love and be loved with?

Victoria is a mere 50, her sister who passed was 54 and her husband who just passed was 57... NOT exactly elderly, more like unlucky!!! Vicki has so many good friends who are, and will be with her and her son also lives near by.

Oh gosh Chatty, how horrible and devastating for Victoria. Didn't you say at one time she is in the early stages of AZ? I'm glad to hear that her son lives nearby. They can be of comfort to one another. And I know you are a comfort to her as well.

Oh heavens no JJ, you are thinking of Ruth the 93 year old woman from Alaska. Vicki lives in California and is only 50, far too young for Alzheimers.

I'll definitely remember Vicki in my prayers. What a terrible thing to happen. So young for all of the saddness. Blessings to her.

OOH, how sad this is. I'll be praying for Vicky, as will my prayer warrior team at church. How sad to deal with the loss of 2 loved ones in a short time. may God comfort her and her family.
