CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER DIP

Ingredients:

* 1/3 cup low-fat yogurt
* 2 T. chocolate syrup
* 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
* 4 cups fresh fruits and vegetables cut in easy to dip shapes
(such as carrots, celery sticks, sliced cucumbers, apples and pears.)
* 1 tsp. chocolate or colored sprinkles (optional)

Directions:

In a medium size bowl beat yogurt and chocolate syrup with an electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.

In a microwave safe bowl, heat the peanut butter at 70% power for one minute or until melted. Stir after the first 30 seconds.

Using oven mitts to hold the bowl, pour melted peanut butter into the chocolate yogurt mixture and stir until smooth.

Serve with fruits and vegetables. Dribble dipped treats with candy sprinkles if desired.

Your GRANDKIDS will love this...I make it for parties and so do adults.

Kids? Dang, that looks like something I would love.

I was at a wedding shower on Saturday. Someone made these double marshmallow pops on a stick for the kids. Oh my. They dipped two marshmallows in chocolate and put them on a stick, then dipped in sprinkles. YUM. They also dipped them in strawberry flavor too. I tried the chocolate and fell in love. My sister tried the strawberry type and also fell in love. It's a little like the choclate covered Peeps we were talking about in another forum.

Chocolate covered peeps have less calories than you might guess.
You're so right Dotsie, the adults love this dip too.

You know come to think of it this could be icing on cake almost. Not too sweet but sweet enough. Think I'll try it.
