My book is released!!!

Hello Friends and Seekers!

Well, it’s been a long time coming but the day is finally here. It is with great joy and completion that I announce the release of my first book:

Yippee!!!!! I did it!!!

I took that great leap of faith and left my job and healthcare benefits to realize this dream. I have self-published with iUniverse. I am so pleased with outcome and it is my hope that you will enjoy this true story of life, death and re-birth.

Peg your story is so compelling and fascinating. I've never read a more detailed account of the near-death/post-death experience. This whole subject has always interested me, and I'm sure your book will provide the key to understanding much of a subject that has danced around through people's imagination for decades.

What was your experience with iUniverse? Are you happy with them? I had considered using them for my second book but decided against it simply for financial reasons.

You might want to double check your icon for Barnes & Noble. I clicked on it several times and the link would not open up for me.

Sigrid, I checked the Barnes and Noble link on my end and was able to click through...hmm...I wonder what happened? anyway, I hope you tried amazon or B&N again. Also, so far, I am very happy with iUniverse. the only advice I would give is make yourself a squeaky wheel around there. they have so many authors, but I found that by personalizing my book with different departments, I got more personal service. so far, I'm very happy though..thanks again and have a wonderful week. This has been a fantastic journey, even though its just begun, really. I'm getting my masters in June as well. I'm 48 years old!!! I'm very proud of myself that I "went for it" at this stage in my life. I feel like I'm just beginning. I left my comfortable corporate job and vital health insurance 3 years ago and simply trusted that God would take care of my true needs. I have type 1 diabetes and I'm labeled "pre-existing" even though I'd match my bloodwork with any healthy 25 year old! However, at the last minute (the month cobra ran out) my husband (of 28 years) and I were able to secure private insurance through our corporation of 2. And so, I am blessed to have coverage and a new purpose. I take nothing for granted and I have no regrets, even when things get a little tight in the pocketbook around here.

And for those of you that have emailed me personally and are going to get the book (thank you) just remember that you are supporting a fellow "boomer" who's simply "not done yet!"

You look 35 if that's any consolation :-) I did try the Barnes & Noble link again and it still won't work for me. The Amazon link works just fine, which is really strange. Have you asked other people to try it out?

How are book sales? I noticed that you have a pretty good rating on Amazon today for a relatively new book. Hope that things are moving along smoothly :-)

Hello all!
I got great news yesterday. The Bodhi Tree bookstore in Los Angeles has requested a book signing! I’m so thrilled. They told me they are currently scheduling for Sept or Oct. I can’t wait. I will let everyone know when it is. Maybe the LA locals can pop in. I would love to meet other "Boomers".

Hi Sigrid...thanks for the encouragement!! That is so strange about Barnes and Noble. I'm sorry you're having difficulty with it. I know that many have ordered through there, but?? I don't know..I just checked it out and it worked ...so..? Well, I always appreciate feedback though. did you get it thorugh Amazon then?

By the way, my rating for a while was 20,000!! I was so excited, then it went up and now it's floating a bit back down...it's like the stock market! Ha!

Hello everyone, thanks so much for all your feedback and encouragement! the book is going great. I'm all set for the Bodhi Tree book signing, Oct. 1, 2:30. So if anyone is in the LA area, please pop in and introduce yourself! It will be an "event" as well, with me talking and answering questions before the booksigning.
I have also been asked to speak at the Los Angeles Chapter of IANDS, (International Association of Near Death Studies) in August. My hope is that this will go well and I will be put on the national circuit. I feel very confident that all is as it should be and that this little book is going to fly into the arms of many seekers! I am so blessed.
