Looking for book authors - 11/12/04 06:35 PM

Hi ladies, I'm looking for Boomer Women Authors to promote on my Amazon Listmania list. Just send me your ISBN, Title and a small blurb (1 sentence) so I can add you to my growing list. This is a great way to get your work promoted.

If you're familiar with Amazon Listmania lists, I'd appreciate it if you'd create your own boomer women authors list and add my book.

ISBN - 1594260516
TITLE - Not Without Anna
BLURB - Award winning book is a must read for parents of teenagers

Hi Vicki, my book is "Beyond the Tears: A True Survivor's Story." The ISBN is 1-41-7-2417-4. (www.authorhouse.com for excerpts and about the author.) What I like about amazon is not only the listmania, but also how the consumer can go to other books on the subject and recommend similar books. I also like the reader reviews! I am so glad to see so many women writers here at boomers! Love and Light, Lynn

Re: Looking for book authors - 01/25/05 01:48 AM

Okay ... totally confused here! I guess since my book just got on Amazon, I haven't a clue as to what listmania is. I guess I have much to learn about being an author. [Eek!]

In any event, can someone better explain it to moi. And, if I create my own list, do I call it Boomer Women also? Oh...so confused here...

Well, here is the blurb on mine:

Surviving the Tough Times-How to make ends meet...NOW"

ISBN # 1591136210

Written specifically for those having a hard time making ends meet and is packed with information so you will have the knowledge and power to take better control of your life in such a difficult situation.

If it is too long, feel free to edit. Many thanks for your thoughtfulness.

Hi,
I would like to put in a "plug" for my books too! I have published three, one of them "The Portly Princess of Thynneland," is a fairy tale for grown-ups about childhood obesity. My novel Sunrise Sunset is about the circle of life and coping with women's issues from infertility to Alzheimers. My first attempt at non-fiction is the hardest thing I have ever written, but may be the best. My Mother Kept a Scrapbook: the True Story of a WWII POW will be out in April.

Dear Vicki,
My book is THE PERFECT DRESS by Mary Jane Cole.

A retro tale of one woman's life over a thirty year period, 50'-80's. Desperation leading to insight.

Thanks so much!
