Air Purifier - 03/25/07 11:10 PM
Ladies, might any of you use an air purifier. I saw the infocommercial on the Oreck air purifier. Thus, wondering if an air purifier can actually help with cleaner air in the home (especially with pets), less dusting, and better sleep? What have your experiences been with such a device and which brand did you purchase?

I have an air purifier. It's an Alpine Air. I think it makes a difference. I think there is less pet hair and dust in the air. And it definitley works on odors.

We have several Oreck and are very happy with them. The filters are usually full of Sammie's feather dust, when we clean them. They've worked for us.

I would LOVE to have one of those. I have wondered if they do what they claim to do. I'm happy to hear that they live up to their reputation.

JJ, you can buy refurbished ones at much less cost. That's what we did.

At their stores. Maybe online? They have a lot of stores in this area.

I have one that was gifted to me but it's still sitting in its original box in a corner. It's a Honeywell.
Not much help, am I? LOL
