Breast cancer cure

The US Postal service recently released a new "Fund the Cure" stamp to help fund breast cancer research. The stamp was designed by Ethel Kessler of Bethesda, MD.

The stamps cost $.45 instead of $.37. The extra $.08 goes to the breast cancer research.

Believe it or not, if all the stamps are sold it will raise an additional $35,000,000 for the research.

This is a simple way for us to help our moms, sisters, girl-friends, duaghters, seslves, etc.

When purchasing stamps please ask for the "FUnd the Cure" stamp.

Great idea Dots. I have to go to the post office today to send out "someone's" birhtday card so will pick up the stamps then. Any of you boomers out there planning on doing the race for the cure this year. I am and would welcome your pledges if you don't plan on participating in the race.

I too am doing the race for the cure. I am so excited to be a part of helping fund research and treatments for breast cancer.

I am going to form a team of walkers/runners to join me in the race. I hope lots of women will join me.
