This is not a Bible verse but I thought this was a good place to post.

After eading this I wonder why we do all this...thoughts?

One Flaw In Women
Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happ y when they hear about
a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they
think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what
makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their
family and friends.
Women have vital things to say
and everything to give.
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

Why do we do these things?

Please share your thoughts...

Interesting question, Dotsie:
[Confused] Maybe cause the world is so accustomed to us giving and giving, that when we don't give as expected some put us down.

[Razz] Maybe cause we, ourselves, expect too much of ourselves and get frustrated when we don't accomplish all we set out to do...
Instead of looking at all we've accomplihed, we "beat" ourselves for lacking something?

[Wink] Maybe some never got the recognition and encouragement while growing up and that helps us not feel good about ourselves?

In a book I open often and read from it states that:
We are perfect women, and being perfect is boring to ourselves and others...
Just a thought!

We women should be known as Caretakers of Civilization. No matter the changes we've seen in opportunities for women, in our society, we yet come in #1 as caregivers, for our children, our spouses, our aging parents. Look at the memberships of most of our charitable organizations, and you will find women leading the way, in efforts to aid and comfort, educate and inspire. When I think back, to my chidhood, my young adulthood, it is women I recall, who most affected my life, my education, my ethics, as a human being. It has ever been so, ladies, it's only now, at this time, that our full value is finally being appreciated. As my mother was fond of saying,

'It was a woman who moved us out of a cave, and it is women who keep us from sinking back to that level.'
