While doing my morning study the other day I was slapped in the face when I read... revenge is unacceptable behavior

I'm use to hearing:

Paybacks are hell.

You just wait!

I'll get him next time.

Revenge is sweet.

I don't consider myself a vengeful person. I've been taught to turn the other cheek, but those words..revenge is unacceptable behavior...spoke loudly to me for some reason.

Just thought I'd share.

Hi Dots,

I'm back and feeling much better. Got through the move pretty good. Happy to be in a more modern and uplifting environment!

Interesting statement, "revenge is unacceptable." I, too, find this interesting.

Sometimes I feel like taking revenge and then I remmber, "Vengence is mine, I will repay." (Sometimes I think, Lord, if you ever need help with 'so and so' let me know...I'm here. Or, sometimes I think out loud, "Lord I wish so and so no harm but you can do whatever you want..."

Then, I feel better...
