I just found a cool site and want to share. It's called "Free Kindle Ebooks." Oh, they have a Facebook page, too, in case you decide you want to "Like" them.

The site says their book list will be updated regularly, and authors can have a book promoted on the site - as long as it's available as a free download via Kindle... (and yes, you can have a book available as free just for a short time.)

But, what I thought was most interesting: There are all kinds of books on the list - fiction, non-fiction and classics.

One I am going to download is How I Wrote My First Book: The Story Behind the Story. Author Lida Quillen has assembled stories from 20 authors on this topic.

As an author who has only managed to publish one book -- and that was with a co-author -- I can't wait to dig into this one.
