While at a recent gathering of faithful people an elderly woman prayed that we could,

"Make the routine Holy!"

This hit me like a ton of bricks!

I decided to give it a try.

Today, while waking the kids and getting them out the door, I thought holy thoughts.

While shopping for a semi-formal dress for and with my daughter, I thought holy thoughts.

While throwing in a load of laundry, I thought holy thoughts.

What can I say? It has made a difference and I have had a better day. So has my family.

So much depends on Mom's mood.

Let's try to have the presence of mind to think holy thoughts and make the routine holy.
