My mamaw told me this very poignant line after I came home from a date when I was 16 and feeling weird about a boy who tried to go too far (he didn't get anywhere with me but him trying had freaked me out)...I'd come in the front door and sat immediately down in the love seat and sat there looking perplexed...she came over to me and asked me if there was anything I wanted to talk about...I silently shook my head 'no.' She smiled at me and said,
"If you can't come home and tell me...you shouldn't be doing it."
Then she hugged me and walked away...she was so smart.
