I have a writer friend who lives in the neighborhood. Yesterday we received this little flyer from her at the door. Here's what she's doing. I think it's so clever.

She's offering classes in her home for young kids and teens. They only last a day or two and for only a couple hours. She is teaching kids to write letters and write about nature and/or photos. She is also working with teens to help them prepare for writing their college essays. I love this idea. She's charging per child.

People love to keep their kids busy during the summer. What do you writers have to offer the children in your neighborhood? This could be a fun way to mamke a few bucks. What do you think?
