This is a great mind teaser and fun besides. It was invented by a woman in my Writers Group. What we do is someone starts a story and everyone reads whats written then adds up to 100 words of her own. The story may begin as a Mystery and change several times until its something totally different in the end. We try for up to 5000 words. I hope all will join in, its just for fun and can be as silly as we want it to, or serious. I will start if its alright...

It was a warm summer night and the weatherman just issued high wind warnings of 60 miles or better per hour. Jillian was home alone and that big old house seemed to come alive with strange noises in the wind. She sat in the center of an antique four poster bed with the covers pulled tightly up around her, holding onto Matida her big orange cat. All she could think of was why wasn't Jeff home, he was very late and she was frightened. They had only been married two months when he was transferred by his company who told the couple they found them a nice old Victorian home to move into.
