Sher, I visited your other site and read About Sher. Thanks for sharing. I feel certain you are bringing people to Christ simply by sharing your story. You made me consider what more I can do to draw others to Him. Thanks!

Please tell us more about that site.

You are one busy lady on a mission and I'm happy to have you in our neighborhood.

Thank you, Dotsie. It's very hard for me sometimes to share with people a part of my past. I want to hide it, bury it, whatever I can do to prevent the "good" people of the world from finding out I am less than perfect.

But,the Lord has other plans. I don't get as detailed as I could, but it would just be so long and so heavy that no one would be able to stand to read it. I am mainly a humor writer now, but suffice to say the humor comes from a painful place. Isn't it wonderful though that God can ease the pain and replace it with laughter???

Mom & Her Money was born out of frustration. I have been a work at home mom for several years now and in that journey, I learned a lot. The most important thing I learned was that their are tons of people that make their living off scamming women that have a desire to stay at home and raise their children. Especially on the internet.

I wanted to share with other moms and then have them share with still others. If you visit This page you'll see that I encourage moms to help each other. No one understands what it's like to struggle to be home with your kids while trying to feed them like another mom does.

Thanks for asking! And if any of you would like to offer to help another mom, visit the site and sign up. You can follow the link above or just visit the site and click on "Mom Friends" on the nav bar. Keep in mind that I have been making over the site and all the info isn't back online quite yet. It's been a big project.

Sher, isn't the internet amazing? How could you have possibly shared so much with so many before it's invention? Impossible.

You mention having millions of hits. How have you gone about publicizing your sites...if you don't mind sharing?

Oh no! The millions of hits thing is a joke! I'm very far from there.

It wouldn't have surprised me. I wanted your secrets if you were getting that kind of traffic!

Hi Sher, welcome to the group. I haven't been here for quite a while myself, as I have been back in school (for the third and last time, I hope). I have worked as an LPN since 1991, and finally got the courage together to go back and finish my RN degree. So now I'm working as an RN in a local hospital and really enjoying it. And I'm really anxious to get back to my writing and art, which I have sadly neglected since going back to class.
I hope we get to be great friends. I'd also like to say hello to all of my old friends and to any newcomers I have yet to meet.
As Minnie Pearl used to say...."HOWDEEEE"
