I love to write, read, swim/surf ( not in Michael/Ian's class, Dotsie!), bushwalk, potter in my garden, explore, laugh, play word games, sing. Last year, I lived in China for 6 months, with my husband and 17 year old son. This year, I am sooo much more comfortable in our new home close to the Pacific Ocean near a city called Coffs Harbour in NSW, Australia. I own a recumbent trike which I don't get to ride as much as I would like to. I have visited the US, in 1998. We are going to Canada and maybe the close parts of the US next year. After that, our next big holiday is to see more of Australia. Any of you ladies been out here?

Coffs Harbour is a lovely spot - for all the non-Aussies it is also home to the Big Bannana - Susan can explain that one. Enough about Phelps/Thorpe - didn't anyone notice the brilliant Aussie girl swimmers?

SusanGaille Member Registered: 08/21/04 Posts: 12 Loc: Australia	Sounds like fun, Meredith. You probably drove through Coffs Harbour and past the Big Banana if you went via the Pacific Highway. The Big Banana is an enormous and very kitsch landmark/tourist haven. Seems no matter when I drive past, there are people out the front taking photos of their families in front of it. Coffs used to have a huge banana industry, but not since the advent of cheap imports.
