db1979 Member Registered: 10/04/05 Posts: 3	hi everyone. found this site via my newspaper. unaccustomed to this type of site. usually frequent forums but here goes....... i am 52 and then some have a 7 year old in grade 2. married for 26 years. was a professional-had a bookstore and now sahm but looking to work for myself or have part time employ. live in quèbec. believe me it "ain't " easy being a geriatric (boomer)mom with all those sweet young things and having your old friends footloose and fancy -free --their kids having left the nest. but it is also amazing as well. i am happy i have read about and discovered this place.

Hubby and I live in Ottawa, but we're in Quebec for a couple of weeks...which means I'm not online as much as usual these days. After practically living here (on this site) for the past few months, it hurts real bad only being able to visit once or twice a day this week! Anyway, I just wanted to chime in with my welcome...this is an awesome place, a lot of wisdom and warmth here. I hope you make yourself at home and enjoy being here. db1979 Member Registered: 10/04/05 Posts: 3	thanks all for the welcome the bookstore was a gas and i wouldn't mind doing it again. i have property now but i wouldn't mind starting something else. the bookstore initially started out as new books , we then added used and albums -yup- albums like we knew it--then of course , cds. i had a lot of vintage stuff and a faithful clientele whom i miss . ah well...
