I hope I'm doing this right, rather than write each of you separately, I am trying to answer all at once except for a message sent to Candice earlier. To answer you questions. I became a writer of Erotica by accident. Entered a contest and the Publisher sent an mail to say he found the work "superior." His words, imagine my surprise...He asked for a book of 8 to 10 more and I wrote it. I love Mysterys and thats what I hope to be known for one day..A phone actress is a woman that speaks to callers about many subjects, mostly sex. PHONE SEX is a big business and yes it pays well if you're good at it. I have a husky, sexy kind of voice that seems to excite the callers. Its histerical because I am suppose to be a 20 something girl thats a dancer in Vegas. I have to say most of my Erotica comes from these conversations, as to what men are looking for. Ladies, its a job. I answered an add 9 years ago which said: Conversationalist, Adult talk, work from home. I called and the rest is history. Guess what I'm 50, a grandma and widow of 14 years, who hasn't had sex in too many years to count. Thepeople who know me, know what I do and it makes for many side spliting gab sssions. How many hours do you do this a week and are you paid by the hour or number of calls. Just curious. If you've been doing it all these years you must be good at it and have it down to a science. Have your friends ever listened to you at work?

Dotsie, thanks for asking. I pick up the phone and log onto their computer. I am put in with any other girls called on. We all have a sexy message the man hears when he calls the service from one of their ads. If he likes my message he dials my code #. My phone rings and the computer says enter your code, I do and it tells me this caller has x amount of credits. 1 credit is good for 15 minutes. I receive $5.00 for any calls whether it is for 2 minutes or 15. Some guys are fast, hehehe! But I still get paid. The nice thing is that I sign in or out as I deem fit. You're not tied to the phone in other words. I average about 10 calls daily. I sign in at 11:00 a.m. and usually out by 8:00 p.m. I answered an ad back in the 1980's that read: Conversationalist, adult talk, work from home......I called, went in for an interview and the rest is history. Yes, I am very good at what I do. I love it, usually...I'd hate to work outside my home and lose the time I can now spend on my writing. Jan., Feb., has been very productie for me. I have 8 MS's out to publidhers and my Erotica book that I need a new publ. for. My favorite is Mystery writing but I am only limited ny my imagination, so there are many possibilities. Chatty, I guess you learn something new every day. I never thought too much about the phone business, who makes the calls, who provides the dialogue on the other end.

Pardon my ignorance, but I recall hearing how people run up major phone bills with 900 (?) calls. Is this what this is all about?
