ewww, some tough ones: vacation, celebrate, whirlpool, hummingbird
Our day, a whirlpool Readying madly Finishing day school Leaving it sadly
Vacation upon us Celebrate, gladly Loading the last bus Bus driver, crabby
Hummingbirds float by Wings seeming frantic Watching us so try To not risk a panic
Days almost done now Farewells, gigantic Thoughts geared to just how To make summer galvanic
(cheez! how bad was that?)
someone else give them a try...

Words: vacation, celebrate, whirlpool, hummingbird
I slipped into our whirlpool to celebrate the first day of relaxation. Ooooh and aaaah I sighed, just loving the bubbly sensations!
Faster than the speed of light, something landed on my nose and stopped. “Yikes,” I yelled into a hummingbird’s eyes, “I’m not your honey pot!”
The hummingbird turned and danced, back and forth and up and down, His wings shimmered in the sunlight; - man this bird was going to town!
I think he thought I was a flower; a wet one that’s for sure. And the whirlpool was his revere; he was doing the hot tub tour.
It was amazing to see the little fellah show off his flying skills, And to see nature so close up, gave me summer vacation thrills.
Loved these words…anyone else want to try? If not then my new words are: Sunbeam, back, zoo, ride

Sunbeam, back, zoo, ride
Summertime is my favorite season, Now I'll explain the heartfelt reason.
My girlfriends and I go back to the zoo, Each year to watch animals, do what they do, And we'll ride the merry-go-round, a time or two.
We laugh and enjoy strolling to exhibits, As a sunbeam guides our fellowship 'n visit.
Viewing baby creatures and celebrating their birth, Gives new value to life's blessings and worth.
New words: Easter, renewal, restore, adore

I'd like to try gims words: time, vague, memory, connect
Time, they say, is a formidable foe, It drains your strength, And makes you old, A memory grows vague, Names with faces, you cannot connect, But there's still good news, For all to project.
Humans' have a part of their being, Which does not get weak or dim, One segment of man forever stays strong, It's the spirit that lives with HIM.
So do not fret or worry 'bout a thing, I'll meet you in Heaven, Where the Angels doth sing!

Easter, renewal, restore, adore!
There is something magical about Spring time cleaning, Cause I don’t usually see where those dust balls lurk. I get giddy, and my new mop starts reeling, While listening to jazz, - I get to work.
Besides renewing upholstery wallpaper and such, Old tables and chairs get restored. No task is too big, no cleaning too much, That spanking new feeling, I just adore.
And then when everything twinkles like stars, And my reflection is everywhere to see, We start on scrubbing the garage and the cars, Hard to believe, but it makes us happy.
And finally the tulips are put in the vase, And the Easter eggs are laid in a bowl. Out comes the tablecloth with the fine silk lace, And on top; honey ham, asparagus and sweet rolls.
The next words are a thought: What does Easter mean to you?

What does Easter mean to you, a friend asked that question, out of the blue.
My mind sees Jesus, nailed there to a cross, I think of the souls, otherwise lost. And I cringe.
A crown of thorns, I envision on His head, Nails in His hands 'n feet, Dripped trails of bright, blood red. An innocent man, weighed down 'n dying, Took on the world's sins, as we look up crying.
We'll live forever, 'cause He gave His life. God's plan for mankind, 'twas a heavy price! And I cringe.
Easter means resurrection Sunday, A stone rolled away, And eternal life, here to stay.
Easter means beauty, flowers, and such, Loved ones in Heaven who meant, oh so much. Easter means celebration, a feast, a brunch.
Let's continue with this theme, shall we???

Easter, renewal, restore, adore
The house is quite, as you might expect I'm up so early with a need to check My silk dress laid out the night before Laid out with gloves and the hat I adore. I tune my cords, from note to note Testing each sound that comes through my throat. "My song, is it ready?," I asked in my head "You'll do just fine," my inner-mom said.
The season has come to sing of renewal A song for Easter, a classical rule Elected to sing, I hope to restore For strangers to Jesus who come through the door A feeling of gladness that comes with His giving The utmost of gifts that makes life worth living. His selfless act was a heartbreaking err Without it, however, we'd not have a prayer.

Thought I'd try Edelweiss3's words: vacation, whirlpool, celebrate and hummingbird--just to see what I get.
The hummingbird return, I celebrate each May, Can't wait to watch 'em flitter, All over the yard, everyday.
They entertain the soul, And fill the spirit with glee. I wonder if they delight others, As much as they amuse me.
Some folks grow happier at vacation time, Each 'n every year, Others enjoy a whirlpool, Or music plugged in their ear.
But to me seeing hummingbirds, Zooming about in pairs, Adds color and flair to summer's, Welcomed, warm 'n gentle air.

Vacation, hummingbird, celebrate, whirlpool
I revel in the sun’s rays Streaming through the canopy Of poplars and maples, Dancing off the dewdrops And reflecting in the whirlpool Of rippled river babblings. Merry morning glory Sparks heart to celebrate The dawn of this new day.
Wondrous warmth enwraps me As the sun bursts into flames Caressing all creation With light that calls to life. Halos crown the hummingbird Drinking in dawn’s dew A flick of wings, a flash of red, He twinkles out of sight.
Creation ever painting With color, light and life Joyous exaltation In every moment’s “now” Ah, the glory, and the grace, The wonders all arrayed Across my path today.
Creation knows no vacation.
Anybody want to try new words?
How about: tulips, earth, squirrel, path
