Sorry about your prognosis. I'm confident everyone here will join me in praying for your speedy recovery. I'll bet rumination torments every human mind. If we could just push a button and turn off the negative thoughts, we'd all be a lot better off.

Thank you Jabber. Prayer is my best way out of rumination...ruminating has been a weakness of mine in the past, but I'm determined to not give it a foothold anymore.

Your signature has been a huge help. The past 5 years have been difficult and there are instances when I'd rather not deal things. But I remember that Maya Angelou signature and it helps. I'm able to function while doing things I'd rather not do. And generally I'm able to enjoy doing, what needs to be done! Thanks again.

It's Slipping Away

Time is slipping away,
And this I surely know,
Minutes'n hours that are now here,
How soon they're gonna go.

My second manuscript,
Well, it needs to be done,
That's toppin' a bucket list,
Which has me on the run.

Would rather spend time playin' with pup,
Got friends to phone and folks to interrupt.
My car needs a vacuum, floor needs scrubbin',
Hedge needs weedin' and bushes need shrubbin',
Hubby wants attention, I've neighbors to see,
There's folks I certainly forgot to mention,
'Cause that's just like me.

Oh my gosh, there's a football game,
That's gonna start, gotta watch the team.
And nobody's surprised when they fall apart,
Another heartbreaker will surely smart.

If you're wonderin' why I'm still here,
And not doing what needs to be done,
It's cause I like writin' poetry,
That other stuff ain't so much fun.

in short supply! LOL...

Rainbow'n Falls

Hubby and I took a trip to The Falls,
Found ourselves stupified by such grandeur and all.

Mist had been soaking everything around,
Walked a ways and then, a rainbow was found.

Lived here a lifetime, but seldom visit the region,
If I knew why, I'd give you the reason.

NIAGARA FALLS has power'n might,
Leaves a person dumbstruck at such a beautiful sight.

Can't wait to return and see its awesomeness once more,
Love seeing the whirlpool, and the rainbows, I adore.
