DECEMBER IS HERE

December 1st arrived with supersonic speed,
'Tis hard to comprehend, 'tis hard to believe.

Decorate your house and put up that ole tree,
Decide what foods to serve, guests on Christmas Eve.

Send those gifts forthwith, to family overseas,
Buy homebound presents, that'll surely please.

Write Holiday Cards and get 'em in the mail,
Send charitable donations, on this don't ever fail.

Merry Christmas my friends, and a great New Year too,
Next December 'll soon be here, 'cause this one surely flew!

MANGER TALK

Sweeter than honey, more precious than gold,
The baby in the manger has a story to be told.
Born to die, so others shall live,
No greater gift than this, is there to give.
By Holy Spirit power "I Am" becomes a man,
Thirty-three years fulfilling, His own Father's plan.
Knowing the uphill battle, HE surely has to win,
Defeating the Devil, defeating evil, obliterating sin.
He's standing bold, He's standing brave,
Paying the ultimate price, for each soul saved.
Creating all and giving all, the baby is indeed,
The Universal God'n man, living so perfectly!

A FRESH START

Thank you Dear Lord for specializing,
In new beginnings and new horizonings.

Rid whatever wrongfulness is plaguing the human race,
So faith in You alone people shall decide to place.

For as A Loving Father, which we know You truly are,
Thanks for renewing desires, to reach higher than a star.

And since this brand New Year of 2012 has just begun,
Bless thy worldwide populace, each and everyone!

HEARTWARMING

Been thinking 'bout blessings,
That are warming my soul,
And decided to list them,
As they doth unfold.
Dahila, rosebuds, purple crocus, and mums,
Plus the colors in a rainbow,
They'll never be outdone.
Smiles from strangers down at the mall,
Or the enthusiasm of children,
Having fun playing ball.
The tenderness of puppy,
Resting her head on my foot,
A home to come home to,
And family genes to take root.
Seeing sweet Goldendoodle,
Wagging tail with glee,
Showing such devotion,
Whenever looking at me.
These are the things,
Brightening life, day by day,
But clouds keep a rollin',
'tis all I have to say.

Chatty, yonuh, Angelika, Eagle, all'n everybody,
Would love to C someone else write a poem or two.

Haven't thought about it in a while, jabber. I'll put my poetry cap on and see what I can come up with!

HE IS WORKING

Prayers it seems, just aren't taking hold,
How long must I shoulder such misery untold.
Nemeses' keep planting, perceptions untrue,
When will these grey skies, ever turn blue.

Psalm 37 promises, those troubled like me,
Father 'll be fighting, He'll set captives free.
Having found myself, in a catch-22,
I know the only way out, dear Lord is in you.

So come to my aid, Father God, won't you please,
I'm begging for help, 'cause in Your Word I believe,
Let enemies be caught, in the traps set for me,
Send me Your joy, so I can live happily.

O'er six years now, I've prayed'n prayed,
Asking Holy Father, make the bad go away.
Nemeses' so proudly keep laughin' at me,
Outsmarting the smart, by scheming cleverly.

But way down deep, I know to take heart,
Though demons keep ripping my senses apart.
For I'm sure He's working, on this problem of mine,
And one day I'll awake and ALL will be fine.
