Thanksgiving Food for Thought

These have been hard years, I surely must say,
Yet we've had fun, as we've gone on our way.

I've many, many reasons to give the Lord thanks,
Though at times I'm stressed, and more than a bit angst.

Still, I'm able to cheer, pray, and shout,
Thank God for His love, for His love I've no doubt.

Jesus rules the universe, I know it's so,
'Tis reason enough, to keep the faith and stay whole.

Hence, in between sadness and groans,
I know in my heart, Father's still on His Throne!
