Jabber, It's not necessary to close the thread. I'm sure the poems will keep coming. It doesn't matter if they come far and few between, we just go at our pace. That's the best! Maybe some of the new gals would like to join us. And maybe Mountain Ash might want to jump in.
Come one, come all to our poetry brawl!!!! EVERYONE IS INVITED!

I don't think we should close this thread! IMO, it's okay that we just come and go as the creative juices flow! I'm not always able to make a poem with the words provided. I don't think we need to regiment ourselves to writing something within a specific timeframe...when the spirit says write, we write...as soon as it becomes an obligation, it's not fun anymore.
IMO it's okay that we can go days without a poem. If it seems that a certain set of words aren't working, let's give it a day or two, then substitute new words.

Jabber, do as I do, stop by whenever you can and do the best you can do. Works for me!
I am going to use as many of you ladies words as I can all at one time, here goes...
There is a story to be told, please allow it to unfold, Things seem uneventful when no one is sentimental. Theres isn't much reason for living, when we are unforgiving Never as a person of intelligence do something you can't undo.
As I stand here moarning for a love gone by, I realize the sun's gone down in the sky, and so's the morning light. If I weren't so wary, I might feel like being merry. The clock in the towns church is chimeless, Time passes morning into night as though timeless. I can no longer see peoples faces, Its like being in an empty desertoasis.
I saw the reflection in the glass of a sow, I was sad to realize it's me, looking fat as a cow. I don't want to beg, say oh please, I don't want the reflection to be a tease. I shout out, oh mighty molly, to whoever is holy My maids uniforn won't fit when they begin the hotels staffing, and I'd be willing to bet when they see me, my bosses won't be laughing.

Picking at my pickled peppers on Piccadilly Avenue in a Pistola Rose restaurant, I was petrified at the sight of a vixen and vampire clad in black and ready to haunt.

New words: movie star, admire, favorite, inspire
The movie star mostly gains his fame, From hordes of younglins who flock, To ogle his well-built frame. Good lookin' faces 'n manly men, Are apt not to inspire, mature persons.
Me, I admire a gentle breeze, And the sound of tiny creatures, Scamperin' 'mongst leaves.
The outdoors has my favorite stuff, Love the shade of an ole Willow tree, Or playin' with pups, all fuzzy 'n gruff. Love to sway on an ole porch swing, look up at a waterfalls, falling, And whatever I find anew on the ground, 'tis more fun to view than a circus clown.
New words: method, code, canal, fashion
