Cute Chatty; I don't think about what I'm eating or I'd never eat.
Thanksgiving Food for Thought
These have been hard years, I surely must say, Yet we've had fun, as we've gone on our way. I've many, many reasons to give the Lord thanks, Though at times I'm stressed, and more than a bit angst.
Still, I'm able to cheer, pray, and shout, Thank God for His love, for His love I've no doubt.
Jesus rules the universe, I know it's so, 'Tis reason enough, to keep the faith and stay whole.
Hence, in between sadness and groans, I know in my heart, Father's still on His Throne!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY!!!

I know some of us don't all believe the same. So if that's too religious, I'll see if I can come up with something else.
Counting Blessings
I'm thankful I was born, At just the right time, Blessed with a wonderful family, And friendships, awesome'n fine.
I'm thankful I grew up, On a hillside farm, in the sticks. Where I was taught, love, Is how one responds, to mean, dirty tricks.
Gratitude extends to boomer women and the Net, That much I know, on that I'd surely bet, Am thankful for associations afforded via the web, They've lightened my spirit and cleared my head.
When all is said, when all is done, I'm grateful for each and every one.

Haha Anne...that made me laugh out loud. Dear Jabber, Chatty, Anne and all the rest of the poets here!
I raise my glass and toast to you, My fellow poets, old and new!
Hope this day fills your hearts with cheer, And your bellies with wine, instead of beer.
I’ll be thinking of you all, and want you to know, The finest harvests are friendships we reap and sow.
