Jawjaw, I wear sunglasses in winter even though we don't get much snow at the foot of our mountains.

And will wear sunglasses all season during daylight even if I am walking around. Part of it might be habit, especially on cloudy days. But that's just me I guess.

Only within the last 2 years, my eyes have started to tear from time to time when I cycle. I just try to wipe my eye(s) and continue cycling. It's a common thing among older cyclists. Not sure why.

I never had this happend to me prior to that.
I also read somewhere that not wearing sunglasses over many years in sunnier climates, means higher chance of cataracts? Needs more research here...
