Gims, I have tears of joy. What a wonderful, inspirational poem of support and it makes my resolve even greater. I am down even more this morning, see below...You ladies are my heart, I want you to know that.
This morning I am proud to say, another two pounds have dropped away.
Not sure where they went, no where to be found, but that makes me happy, to be thinner I abound.
Since August 28th., I have lost a whole nine, it'll be even more since I'm learning how to dine.
With you gals in my corner how could I fail, through this trying time I will easily sail.
So Edelweill, Jabber, Gims and all, we'll have a cyber party when I'm finally small.
So watch this site for updated info, and meet the new thin me to get a new intro.
One way or another I will find a way, to post a picture on that happy day.

Glad you stopped by Poppie...Come again soon.
The Couch Potato
Had a fight with my ex as he laid on my couch, I'm so tired of his being nothing but a grouch.
I took him in in March when he was ill, now months later he's still here and I need a pill.
They repoed his car so he wants to use mine, I told him forget it fool, don't cross that line.
I don't do his laundry, buy or cook his food, one of the reaons he's in such a bad mood.
I wish I had never met him, or taken him in, the slug would already be dead if murder wasn't a sin.
Now between a rock and a hard place is where I'm at, all I can do is stew and fret, and swear a lot, oh drat!
The excuse now is he can't look for work with no car, and if he got a job by some miracle he couldn't go far.
No money, no car, no job and no ambition, tell me does anyone know if to Europe there's extradition.
On a slow, slow boat to China I'd gladly pay his fare, and take a deep breath once I know they're keeping him there.
It's my own fault for being soft and letting him stay, If you want to see me happy, please bend a knee and pray...

Couch potato, couch potato, Just gets fatter. Jump up, spin around, turn yourself to batter. Run in place like chatty does, Stretch, kick and wiggle. Makes you feel good enough to jiggle the giggle It pumps up your heart, And feeds your brain. You have pounds to lose, and muscles to gain!

Dotsie, WHO/you, said you can't write poetry??? Well, this one is awesome and right on subject. I love it...I write about this because it is ever on my mind, driving me nuts. He is dragging me down, especially since they repoed his car he keeps hinting to use mine.
NO END IN SIGHT
One day on the phone we met, a day I will never forget.
He came to town after a year, to visit me, his darling dear.
He stayed and never went back, we married shortly, I had fallen for his crap.
Soon it became apparent, his sly motives were inherent.
After six turbulant years we divorced, but nothing followed the right course.
Now today fourteen years later, he is back and the stress is far greater.
I know I should have him evicted, with his murder I'd never be convicted.
Your honor, I did it in self defense, his troublesome presence became too immense.
I see no solution on the horizon, unless I drop over and the Lord keeps me from a risen...
