On my desk...
a timer (so I can see how much I'm wasting)
a photomosaic book of Van Gogh's head swirling into a vase of sunflowers,
a couple of unpaid bills
Atkins bar
Dove dark chocolate
a quote that reads, "Trust, Wait, Anticipate"
5 copies of my book, Mothering Mother that was supposed to be mailed three days ago
two pairs of dollar store glasses,
sun screen
Revlon Outlast lipstick that I just love--in coral
a glass vase my daughter blew for me
THE funniest birthday card I have EVER received in my LIFE!
a prayer stone from Big Sur in California
(this was fun)

Okay, thought I'd list things that others haven't:

A Kermit bobble head still in it's original package
A Kermit snow globe from my granddaughter
Tutter -- the mouse from Bear in the Big Blue house from my grandson
A monkey hanging upside down from my desk lamp
The desk lamp -- was my mom's and sat on our organ as a night light for years and years
A stuffed Kermit sitting on the lamp
Booklets of different iMAC applications
iMAC for Dummies book
Three flash drives and my iPod shuffle
A petrified rock
Pictures of the grand kids and my husband
A little dish my grandson make for me with a rock from him
An American flag
One of many Bibles
A hand-made leather journal I purchased in Venice -- I think I've written about 3 pages of "special stuff" in it
A little lamb (I collect lamb/sheep)
Two magnets ... one, lightening over Arizona the other a Celtic design with Ireland on it
My iMAC, a Gateway computer and if I swivel around in my office chair, my laptop
Pewter knight in full armor with sword and shield from Germany

And this isn't showing the stack of research papers on the credenza along with three cups of pens, pencils and markers

Sheesh, no wonder I don't get things done

Wow I feel so normal after reading all these. Here's an assortment of my desk..actually it's 2 desks Lshaped tpgether one has a hutch.other has a shelf for my monitor which is actually an MSNtv2..besides that is the keybord & set-top box for it. Plus my laptop, which is so nice and handy for intense stuff, but often a source of pain in the sitter. there's the DSL/wireless router, 3 organizer type things full of pens, labels, sissors, oh this one has pain patches in it. one has a lotof pictures, misc greeting cards for all occasions, a laundry pen, half a glass of sweet tea, a planner, address books91 snai mail-1email) makeup bag and makeup, tums, cell & cordless phone, my laptop used for work..which is more of a device that favors a laptop, a jar of jelly beans, kleenes, dry erase marker/board, lotion, y stuffed monkey my DH gave me when i had my transplant, pics of kids and DH, lamp, old name tag from previous job, jewelry, paper clips, a bottle of low voltage "chill pills" LOL, my lab report, health insurance, wedding & coupon folders..Dollar Tree glasses, sunglasses, car keys, chargers......One would think I live here. & last but not least, a bucket of soft peppermints! Plus...ok that's enough..
