NYWoman Registered: 08/24/07 Posts: 87 Loc: California	I am new here, but not necessarily new because I joined once before. I forgot my log-in info, so I decided to re-join as NYWoman. I grew up in Queens, NY and have resided in the San Francisco Bay Area for 25 years. I turned 55 on August 6. Turning 55 has it's advantages ... I'm now entitled to some senior discounts! I've lived in NY State my entire life. As a kid, I visited NY CITY a time or two. My mom was a farmer's wife but she loved that city. When I was nine years old, nine of our family members traveled by car and stayed in what once was the Bristol Hotel. I remember all of us pushing onto a subway, afraid one of the gang may get caught in the doors. It's funny the things that remain paramount within the memory. Glad you're here!
