I'm going to look for it at CVS. I have a big problem with the nails on my right hand splitting. I'm right handed. I think it has to do with gardening this time of year. I rarely wear gloves.

I'm doing a course in beauty therapy and if your nails and split and flaking also, it may be called onychorrexis... if you can, have warm oil manicures on weekly basis... and for home care advice,

1.regular use of rich hand cream [rich in vitamin E]
2. Always wear rubber gloves when cleaning or washing up
3. always wear warn gloves in cold weather
4. ensure a balanced diet...

the causes may be:
using harsh detergents without wearing gloves
poor diet
not wearing gloves in cold weather...

sorry for such a long post.. hope i've helped..

Hey whatever works. I have tried a million things but this one seems to be the best so far. My nails are looking really good for the first time in ages although the Biotin does help strengthen them from within.

I am so glad that someone brought this back up! I have some of the worst nails in the world. I am buying myself some bullet proof nails today.

chatty,
A couple of your posts say [Nevlar Fiber]; I think that's a typo. It's actually Kevlar Fiber. I got some of it. And my nails showed an immediate improvement. I'm so grateful for the tip. My nails look better than they ever have! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Ciao for now,
bonnie rose

distressed, thanks for jumping in. I hope you'll stick around and post in other forums. I am so bad at wearing gloves. I don't even wear them when gardening and I know I should. I just like to feel the earth with my bare hands.

Another product to keep your hands in great shape is the hand set by Mary Kay. I buy mine from Patti on this site. It's a three step process that is so worth using. I keep mine in the kitchen and try using it every morning. I used it this morning and my hands feel rich and creamy. I just let Patti know when I'm running out and she puts it in the mail to me.

Chatty,
I didn't say that to embarrass you. But I thought perhaps others might be looking for that specific content, as I was.
Besides, Chat, I make so many typos myself, that I don't catch, when someone else hits the wrong key it jumps out at me. Don't hang your head. I love a smiling face!
That stuff, however it's spelled, is grrrrrrrr..eat!!!
Cioa for now,
bonnie rose
