Great post to pass along!! In my memoir writing classes, I always advocate isolating each decade of our lives and jotting down the highlights that we can recall. As we consider events and recollections on which to elaborate, we have a handy inspiration resource in our decade lists. It is a fabulous memory generating tool, as one memory tends to lead to another.

I really appreciated Lea Lane's emphasis on not worrying about getting older, but making good use of the time we are given!
