Toothache torture...

Toothache torture... - 07/10/10 11:37 PM

I have been suffering for several days now with a toothache, my whole right side of my face hurts. The back of my neck does too. I have been using Oil Of Clove and that helps, then later in the day I pop an Aleve. That stuff really works to ease pain, I was shocked how well Aleve works. I am "terrified" of the dentist, always have been. My mother was too and I got my fear from her. Anyway I have to go to a good pain sensitive kind of Dentist. Wish me luck and PRAY, my Sassy is too young to be an orphan.
I can see the headlines now:

Large, fluffy, old woman arrested after she freaks out and rips off dentists (begins with T, & there were two of them.)

Chatty, here is hoping the dentist is gentle and you are better soon. I hate when anything on/in the head is in pain.

Chatty,
You have my sympathy dear lady. I have a deteriorating jawbone
and if it wasn't for PerioMed, .63% Stannous Fluordie Concentrate
plus an occasional Advil, I'd be in big doodoo. I use PeriodMed three times a week. It's treatment for tooth decay, sensitivity. It helps build protection against painful tooth sensitivity. You can buy it on the Net; made by 3M ESPE; phone number is 1-800-634-2249. I have two implants in that area of the jawbone where
I'm having problems. So I know what it's like to have pain down
the neck and the entire side of the face. I'll add you to the
pray list. Blessings,

Sorry you're having tooth pain, Chatty. In my opinion, there's nothing worse than toothache (unless it's earache!) Hope you get it taken care of. I used to have fear of going to the dentist, but have now found a great dentist - finally.

Jabber, have you read the precautions for PerioMed? If there is flouride in your drinking water at .7ppm, it isn't recommended unless your doctor or dentist has approved it. Please be careful with flouride as it can be toxic and cause other health problems.

Thank you, again, yonuh! It is and has been recommended by
the dentist ever since I had those implants, implanted! I've been using it a full 5 years, now! The doctor is the dude who
told me to use it; so, if I die, don't recommend my dentist!

U know, that medicine they use to rebuild bone density, which
actually deteriorates jawbones, ought to be taken off the market.
They know many women have problems with their jawbone, after
taking bone-builders; so, why don't they discontinue the use of it? This is not a funny disorder. I hate to see other gals go through what I've been suffering, year after year.

Doesn't it seem, with all the modern technology, they could come
up with something that doesn't deteriorate areas of the body,
while building other tissues? What say you?
