Oh yes! After a long period of not really buying very many clothes, I am finally loving lots of the new stuff that's out there - pretty tops, interesting dresses(which I tend to like to wear over pants, and of course the jeans! I like the below-the-waist bootcuts - perfect for me, and skip the superlow rise ones. At the age of almost 59(will be so on the 21st), with a good shape, haircolor, and good skin, I see no reason to just disappear into the woodwork with just some "safe, age-appropriate" look. To me, no matter what one's chronological age, it's to consider what shape one is in first and go from there, also what you like.
For myself, I tend to be eclectic, not needing to fit into any straight job stuff, as I'm an artist. Tend to pick up on second-hand, and dye/alter things to my liking, with different length layers, etc. I get a ton of compliments, for that, too!
I'll be style-conscious until I drop - I just like to look for very good deals, as I'm on a budget.
