I learned to crochet when I was little -- I just couldn't get the "hang of" knitting -- then about 2 years after gettin involved with my moms yarn shop -- I decided -- like you said -- that everything really kewl was KNITTED -- so I sat down and taught myself to knit --

I will always remember that day -- I sat with one knitting needle in my right hand -- and one needle placed between my knees standing straight up -- my mom walked past me and did a double take and said -- WHAT ARE YOU DOING ???? [Smile]

I found that it was easier to hold one needle in my knees due to the fact that I was so used to using one crochet hook -- and eventually I felt comfortable working with both my left and right hand holding a needle -- now I enjoy both equally.
