Chickadee, I'm technically not a vegetarian but eat 98% lacto/ovo/vege diet. Fish once or twice a week, the rest vege. No mammal meat since 1978? -- 1980 for sure. Can't say I miss it. Most of what I eat would be classified as "health foods" -- unprocessed, lots of organics, no preservatives, hardly any junk. (Ben and Jerry's is not junk! -- it's all natural ingredients -- and it makes me happy to splurge now and then. [Wink] ) Congrats on cutting down on your smoking, I'm really proud of you.
