As far as modern technology goes, something else came to mind.
Most teens carry cellphones these days and have the ability to take pictures or phone for help, when necessary. I'd advise any parent to explain to their children to scream and/or run at the first hint of uncomfortable vibes. Get out!!! Phone for help!!! We didn't have all these technological aids when we were young. Of course, then there's the abusive parent senario! Don't know what you do about that. If I've got this right, Joyce Meyer's father abused her from the time she was 9 years old until she was grown up and moved out. I do know there are uncles out there that should be locked away!
