For those of us who have trouble either getting to sleep or staying asleep...

Very simple, very basic, right from the horses mouth(the doctor). The key to sleeping is exercising. Ahhhh! There's that *E* word again.

If you aren't sleeping well, you aren't getting enough exercise.

Now this may not be the absolute truth for people at our age, but it is a thought worth pondering.

Are the people in this forum who are having problems sleeping doing any exercise? [Big Grin]

Don't make me feel like the priest hearing confessions. [Eek!]

We have come to discover that gym class just isn't enough exercise for my daughter. She can stay up until 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. and is very productive at that time of night.

However, during swim season she falls fast asleep around 11:00. She swims laps for an hour and a half, all strokes. Her doctor brought this to light and simply stated that some people need more exercise to have healthy sleep patterns. [Big Grin]
