I'm so glad you're not worried about others reading your journals. Don't worry about the handwritten ones either. Most people won't be able to read most handwriting.

The comment about your mother's journal, "It was painful reading, but I'm glad I found it," is very reassuring. I wonder if a daughter gets to know her mother in a new way when she finds an old journal. That's what happened in THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY.
