For those of you not covered by an employer insurance plan, Blue Cross, Blue Shield has a program at:

Then click on the "Individual or Family Plan." That's for anyone who doesn't have insurance.

My program is $274.00/month and it is just for me. A 2500.00/deductible a year. High, but if you think about it, if something major came along, it wouldn't be. And that's why I have it. Well, that and the prescription card. Also, just because I applied doesn't mean I'm accepted. It says I have to wait UP TO 60 days to see if I'm in the program. Hopefully, it won't take that long.

There are restrictions (aren't there always?) and anything that has been covered BEFORE has a 365 day waiting period before it will be covered again. So read everything and call them if you don't understand the program before signing up.

This link I gave you is for ALABAMA; however there is a place on the site for other STATES.
