Tommorow Dennis, my husband, gets the results from his CAT scan. He has an egg sized lump on his neck. Seems there is a high probability that it is some form of cancer, but it may also be something else.

Poor guy found out a year ago that he has Parkinson's disease and now this. He is taking it fairly well, and remaining optomistic, and so am I. But, it seems for two fifty-somethings, that our bodies are falling apart at rather a young age.

I will let you know tommorow the results and then will ask if anyone else has been in the same predicament. Any kind thoughts would be appreciated.

Ann

Hi, Ann: I pray that the CAT scan turns out to be the "something else" which could be seen to quite easily. Be steadfast and hopeful for good news, Ann. It helps to clear the mind. Your husband has taken the right attitude. God bless. I shall offer a prayer right by His feet.

Same here Ann. Lola is so right with the advice of hopefulness. Hold steady in your faith; and we will be there with you both all the way! God is good!

Fingers crossed that it's "something else."

I pray it disappears and is nothing but an innocent lump. Something called a fatty tumor, always benign.

Dennis just returned from the specialist. The CT scan did not return clear results, so they preformed a biopsy. He is scheduled to have surgery this coming weekend to have it removed. We may know the results of his biopsy before that, and if we do I will share that with all of you also.
Thanks for being here for me.

Anno, prayers to you and your husband. I know it's scary when a scan isn't clear. I hope the biopsy is negative as Chatty suggested and everything can be mended.

Thank you all you lovely ladies. The biopsy returned negative. Dennis will still need the surgery and the doctor will not guarentee that it is not cancerous, but we all know better, don't we.
It was a long weekend and I want to send my sincere thanks to each of you. Knowing that you were here for us made my life so much easier.

Hey JJ - wonderful picture!
